You can add weights to bogies and the like by putting lead shot (or any available suitable alternative) in voids underneath the model where it cannot be seen. Pour molten candle wax over the shot to hold it in place. Using this technique you can achieve a very low centre of gravity which helps stability as well as adhesion. -- Chris Wilson
