In these days of electronics and DCC, etc.,some of us oldies hanker for the days when a large paint tin, rotating on a spindle and driven slowly by a small low voltage electric motor, could be made to switch signs and lights off and on, by using strips of non-conductive adhesive tape to make and break the conections. Unbelievable ? Try it for fun one day. -- Andrew McEachern
